I have replaced all my sensors except the crankshaft sensor, but the car still idles really high then it cuts off then it takes forever to start again. Is it the crankshaft sensor making it do that or does anyone have any solutions to this problem..

Does anyone know what else I can check that would make my 1995 Camaro 3.8 v6 do this?

There are soo many out there to choose from. Which would you recommend and why? I am familiar with Sniper, Superchips, and Moates Quarter Horse. However I probably don't wanna write my own tunes...I have a habit of going extreme on the tunes and I will probably blow my engine up if left to my own devices  . I just want something to give me a little more power, throttle response, and maybe a quicker drive by wire signal...any thoughts?

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. Last night I was messing around online and stumbled upon this pretty cool website. Maybe you've seen it, maybe not. It is www.zeroto60times.com. It lists almost every car and the respective 0-60 AND 1/4 mile times. Some cars have a 0-60 but no quarter mile time. And even if you can't find your specific car you should be able to find the times of a car that is similar to yours. Check it out!!

I'd like to see a 2012 Camaro ZL-1 vs a 2012 Mustang Cobra vs a 2012 Mustang Boss vs a 2012 Cadillac CTS-V vs a 2012 Corvette. And then for kicks I'd like to see how they all stack up against the 2006 Ford GT, the 2013 Shelby Cobra, the 2013 SRT Viper and the 2013 ZR-1 Corvette. I think that would be an awesome match up. And I'd be rooting for the Camaro ZL-1 all the way. I think it would be good to see all the best of the V8 RWD 2 door American sports cars going head to head in a slugfest. And for a surprise guest appearance I'd like to see the 02 Firebird Firehawk, the 00 Cobra R, and an 06 GTO!! How cool would that be??!! Of course there would have to be track sessions as well as quarter mile times and street driving tests as well. Whatcha think?!

He's been looking to get a car for around $9,000. I took him to look at a few 350Zs, a few G35's, and a slew of other cars (Lincoln LS, Altima, and other boring stuff...) all the while trying to convince him to get an 00-02 Z-28/SS. Finally he decided to humor me and we went Camaro shopping all day. I found a 2001 Z/28SS and an 02 Z/28SS. The 02 had just been sold in the 1 hour between me calling the dealer to confirm it was still available and actually getting to the dealer...oh well on to the next one. The next dealer still had the 01 and let us check it out. The car didn't seem to have been taken care of so we had to pass...no sense buying a car that hasn't been maintained. Side note, how can someone own a Camaro Z/28SS and not take care of it?! Sheesh...

Anyway, point of the story is that you never out grow a strong crush...whether it is a car or a woman. I remember when the 4th Gen F body was the popular car to have. I remember driving my 87 Z28 (H motor) and seeing the 98 and 99 F body as they first came onto the scene. These cars were not my first car crush, but they were my strongest crush. Even now I feel like I HAVE to have one of those cars one day. Seeing the 2 and checking them out has done nothing but made me desire one even more. As I walked to the car with the keys in my hand I couldn't help but notice my heart skip a few beats. And even pulling out of the dealer parking lot in my 2010 SS I still felt like I've missed out on something by not ever owning a 98-02 SS. Any Camaro (or other car) in particular make you feel this way? Oh BTW, my little brother decided on a 2006 Caddillac CTS...better that than a 350Z...

Currently I have only seen a few companies offering exhausts for the 2010 and up Camaro. It's a shame that the cost is over $1,000. Flowmaster is the only company that offers a cat-back for around $700-$800. Unfortunately the quality of the finish is not as nice as the other companies. So you're basically stuck between too expensive and nice or a cost friendly and not as nice. If you're on a budget and not really planning on showing off the exhaust then Flowmaster is the way to go. But if you like the look of a nice system then you have to roll out the big bucks.
