Just brought my new Camaro home Thursday. I am definetely LOVING IT! Can anyone suggest what the best settings are for the Treble, Mid Range & Bass would be to get the best sound quality?

:th_wavey: :welcome: to The forum lesakay69 - glad you found us and wtg and congrats on the new ride - post up some pics when you get a chance - as far as radio settings it is pretty much personal preference and what you listen too

Boosting bass would involve kick drum sounds, bass guitar sounds, even low bass singers. Decreasing the bass would drop out some of those signals. Increasing treble would increase sounds in the upper register - think flute, upper piano octaves, and the high soprano voices. The common vocal range is more of a "mid-range" control but when it comes to just bass/treble controls, your EQ'ing abilities are limited.

if the music sounds too deep or the bass is distorted, manually adjust the bass control to reduce it. If the low frequencies are difficult to hear, increase the bass setting. If the sound is brittle or harsh, it may have too much treble, so reduce this setting. If the music sounds thin, it may need more midrange. If the sound is muddy, reduce the bass and increase the treble.

Welcome to the site. Typically I adjust my eq to smile at me...all the way up on the far left and right, maybe halfway down in the middle and connect the dots on the others. It seems to be a good starting point most of the time.
