I have question for you, How can you tell the difference between a LS1 motor and a z06 motor? i cannot find the correct number on my engine to determine correctly.

If memory serves 4th gen Camaros never got the LS6. Actually even the SS was just and intake/exhaust/appearance package. Luckily the LS6 heads and intake are easy to find and swap over to the LS1 no problem. www.paceparts.com (http://www.paceparts.com) is a good aftermarket vendor of LS1 parts. Plus they have a free catalog.
