I am new to this forum, but old to the hobby(71 years old). I am in the process of restoring a 69 SS for my 16 year old grandson. It is a project that has 3 generations doing most of the work. The car has the original motor which is a 307 cu in. We would like to use a Holley 4 barrel carb, but would like comments on what size.

Thanks

:th_wavey: high and :welcome: to The forum - glad you found us and sounds like a great project, have any pics to share with us :alien::rockon:

would guess it came with

1968/1969 Holley 4053 carb or

1969 Holley carb 4346

and would guess Holley carb 64-7101, 64-7784 or 64-7783 to replace it with

Welcome to the site. Looks like geteurdone found the recommended replacement carb for ya'. Are you hoppin' the motor up at all or just going for restoration.
