Darrenscamaro 02-25-2009, 04:50 PM Alright guys this is a huge discssion across a coupld other camaro sites and especially on TGO about this car. It is a non-delear prep car stored away for many years untouched! The car has 4 miles! Here is it on ebay

What do you guys think? Or did you already know about this?
Darrenscamaro 02-26-2009, 10:58 AM $15,700 is current bid, just over 4 days left on auction. I am following this close as I really want to see what is goes for and where it goes!
geteurdone 02-26-2009, 01:22 PM  nice find and well very interesting, but I won't spend that much for it - I think it would take to much to get it back to the condition to be a safe, reliable, ride - but thats just my opinion
DukeOfHurl 02-26-2009, 01:25 PM I hadn't seen that before. Seems authentic judging from what we are able to see. Interesting story at the least. Even my wife stopped to watch the video and ask questions about it.

The only thing is, there is no amount of money you can spend on another car to make it only have 4 miles.
Darrenscamaro 02-26-2009, 02:44 PM Also its hasnt even been dealer prepped! I have no idea what it is worth maybe no one does but this is truely amazing either way... I mean a 4 mile untouched iroc, it has the LG4 305 but who cares is the history...
If you guys "found" it what would you do? Restore it, drive it, shows or sit it on a turn table somewhere?
geteurdone 02-26-2009, 03:43 PM  it definitely is an amazing find with only 4 miles and never used and still with factory wrapping, my question is how much is this gentleman hoping to eventually get for this ride (right now it is at what 15,000 plus and the original sticker MSRP is 16,000 +, if thats the case it wasn't much of an investment and he has had no use out of it at all :idunno:) - if it was me I would set a limit of maybe 10,000 to restore it and make it safe and drivable, if that would do it and then sell it or garage it back and still keep it for sale at no less than 45,000 :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
DukeOfHurl 02-26-2009, 11:49 PM If it were me I'd just sit on it and leave it untouched, except for washing it. The values on 3rd gens have been holding steady at pretty much the lowest point they are going to reach. In another 10 years the value should be up a bit, and another 10 the value could go pretty high. 5 years ago I still would see 3rd gens everywhere. Its getting to where I don't see a whole lot of them, but they are still not hard to find if you are wanting to buy one. If this guy isn't smart enough to sit on it, then somebody will be smart enough to buy it at this low price (assuming the reserve is somewhere around 20K) and then sit and watch the value rise over the years.
Darrenscamaro 03-05-2009, 04:08 PM Car never sold the bid got north of $24K but never hit the reserve. The seller actually showed up over on TGO! He never released the reserve price to us and said he will keep us updated on what he does next...
geteurdone 03-05-2009, 04:18 PM kind of curious what the reserve price was, and to see what he does now
Darrenscamaro 03-05-2009, 04:22 PM I am VERY curious we all are thinking it was somewhere around $30K maybe even north of that... We are waiting to hear if he post anymore over on TGO and gives us anymore information...
CamaroKid_85 03-09-2009, 09:37 AM where was it kept, its awful dusty and weathered. No hubcaps, not much in options either.
geteurdone 03-09-2009, 11:02 AM supposedly the owner put it right in the semi trailer and then never touched it again :idunno:
Darrenscamaro 03-10-2009, 07:17 PM The original owner bought it and put it in a trailer in Jersey, for what reason that is unkown. This guy bought it from him just to get it out of the trailer and to sell it for what I would assume a profit. He popped up over on TGO but has not released what his reserve price was or what he is planning on doing with the car. He stated that he hopes he will find the "right" buyer...
CamaroKid_85 03-10-2009, 07:28 PM its gunna need a good wash and wax before its done.
Darrenscamaro 03-12-2009, 09:15 AM Yeah I think that is one of the reasons it didnt sell on ebay. But the owner will not wash or wax it, he wants the new owner to decide what to do with it...
