hello i was referred by a comment on car domain, i have an 84 camaro thats pretty much stock, i have plans for it but i've been told by a lot of people to leave it stock... i guess we'll see. i've done some minor repairs to it like the rear washer motor was siezed, the underhood light fuse was broken, and i tried to align the rear hatch as best as i could, plus i adjusted the latch so the hatch could close without slamming it. i have some general pics of the car i'll post them here but you can check them out on cardomain as well it looks like a great site so far here are the pics enjoy :)

Awesome 3rd gen. Has it been restored or has it just been babied all these years? It's very rare to see one all original in such good shape.

surprisingly its still all original, the previous owner said it has never seen snow or even rain for that matter, (the father of the owner claimed he was a gm mechanic) when i was buying the car i asked two million questions and me and my mechanic went over this car with a fine tooth comb lol, also by that time i had seen like 9 thirdgens so i knew what to look for. i did 4 separate V.I.N. searches on the car and it is a local car from a dealer close by. a lot of the parts are still original, it has the original wires with the numbers, v belts that say gm dayco, the ac delco air filter, 3 of the 4 headlight bulbs are original too.The tires that are on it appear to be 16 years old according to the D.O.T. number lol the car is from the Ohio plant according to the V.I.N. which people say has a better factory enamel paint job than cars from the California plant. it seems to have held up good for 25 years, especially for a Canadian car, but it is caked with rust proof it's EVERYWHERE lol, i gave it a good waxing and stored it for the winter, so i hope to have it out soon. for the time that i did drive it it drove really good and it seems very tight. I'm going to have a better look at the car when i take it out for the spring

Yeah I think I'd be keeping that one original too, but who'd ever know if you put a cam in it or ported the heads. ;);)

Thanks man, I absolutely love this car, for the longest time I looked for a duel snorker intake with the 5.0 litre H.O on it like yours! I couldnt find on tho gave up and put a open air element on mine instead... Love the car jump in some of the conversations going on throughout the site we love to hear from ya!
