Ok guys I have some free time here at work so I thought I'd give a little update about my car as I have slowly been doing things over the winter months. Also I'n a desperate attempt to get this site moving again I hope this encourages others to do a updated post about there cars...

Heres what I started with:

As many of you know I started this winter off with my custom sub box made to fit in the well of the hatch. I made a thread showing the whole build but here is the finished project.

I am actually in the process of changing the subs and amp. I recently bought a MTX 801 D class amp and I am looking at two 12 inch Kicker CVR's as my new subs...

I ran into some trouble over the winter months, First off I knew my clutch was slipping and needed to be replaced. No big deal right drop the tranny and unbolt the old stuff and bolt up new right? Well as I should know nothing is ever that easy on a car...When I got the tranny out I noticed a few things, the slave cylinder was bad, the front seal on the tranny was leaking, the rear seal didnt look any better, the rear main oil seal on the engine looked orginal and a few other things. So this clutch has now turned into a weekend project. When its all said and done I replaced all the above mentioned parts and now the RS is running great once again. I put a high performance racing clutch in so its like learning how to drive all over again a world of a difference!

Now my plans are back to working on the body and getting it ready for paint. The body of the car is in great shape and only needs minor work, there is some surface rust but no holes and nothing weak that cant be repaired. My goal is to have the body work done and the car painted before May 30th which is the Michigan F-Body meet and great at Metro Kensington Park in Milford MI. If any of you are near by this is a great event to attend and if you want more information contact me and I can point you in the right direction.

I hope some of you have enjoyed this update and that it has encouraged you to do the same with your cars as I would love to read about them and I would love to see this site up and running again like it was in the before!

Alright a quick update on my on going project:

Recently its been bitter cold so I have not done too much but since I upgraded my tunes in the hatch I blew the top of my custom made box off! The new subs hit harder and louager then the old ones. To repair this problem in addition to screws I used liquid nail to seal the top of the box perfectly. But this now means that box in inmovable, the only way to get it out now is to cut it out...

Also I have begun to "dress" up the old 305 TBI so I have purchased a clean looking edelbrock open air cleaner (even though I am planning on the idea of switching it all over to a TPI motor) and some chrome chevrolet valve covers. In addition to this I am going to re-do all the wiring covers in my engine bay and make them stand out in RED to match the car.

Thats the plan as of today and I will post pictures of the additions as soon as they come in the mail and I get out in the garage and put them on!
