Could you help me figure out what kind of engine I have. Someone told me I could count the spark plugs and tell. It is an 84 Camaro and it's green.

if you dont even know if it is a v6 or v8 that would be a good start, counting the plugs. if you want to know exactly what engine it is check the vin number and call the chevy house, or check the rpo codes. i think on that car there is a spid (Service Parts Identifier) in the glove box. one of those codes should match the code in the engine list here (http://www.thirdgen.org/1984-chevy-camaro?). then you will know what came in that car.
